Both Educational Institutes reserve the right to modify at any time the contents and scope of these Terms even without notice. In the event of any subsequent amendment of the Terms, if you use the Website at a future date, this shall imply that you accept the new Terms.

Like any other website, bigblue.academy uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information. Reservation of Rights
We reserve the right to request that you remove all links or any particular link to our Website. You approve to immediately remove all links to our Website upon request. We also reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and its linking policy at any time. By continuously linking to our Website, you agree to be bound to and follow these linking terms and conditions.
Big Blue Data Academy and Deree – The American college of Greece are not responsible for any malfunctions or damages that may be caused by software used or installed during the course on the student's computer.
All information provided as well as that contained in the training materials (including but not limited to: documents, images, videos, photographs, logos, trademarks) provided to you and distributed as part of the program are the property of the Big Blue Data Academy.
It is absolutely forbidden for the student to sell, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, redistribute, or otherwise use in any way anything belonging to the Intellectual Property of the Big Blue Data Academy, or data of its business partners and associates, or even to create derivative works based on the aforementioned in any way. The student is prohibited from disclosing or sharing any information and password relating to the bigblue.academy website (and additional related websites). Any infringement of these rights will be punished in accordance with the provisions of national and European legislation on the protection of intellectual and industrial property and fair competition. Failure by the student to comply with the above confidentiality obligations shall entitle the Big Blue Data Academy to claim compensation for any proven damage suffered by it, regardless of whether the leakage of Confidential Information and the breach of the terms of the Agreement was caused by malice, gross or slight negligence. The Course may be recorded by the Big Blue Data Academy for educational or promotional purposes.
This Course materials Protection is effective as of the date agreed by the student and is of indefinite duration.
When you purchase a course, we grant you a time-unlimited, non-transferable, access license to all course materials.
Fees are subject to regular review and change. In case of any change, the new fee does not have a retroactive effect for previous orders before this change. Fees and other amounts payable are published and the most recently published pricing is payable by all attendants. Prices are inclusive of all fees and applicable taxes.
You can pay by credit in 6 maximum installments. You will be asked to fill in your card number, expiration date, and security code (CVC). Companies do not keep or store card information details for maximum security. Please note that you will be charged the 1st installment the moment you register or enroll.
Payment made by card is processed through electronic payment platforms. They use encryption protocol on a Secure Sockets Layer - SSL. Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key. Thus, this means your data and transactions are absolutely safe.
Refunds for course
Registration cancellations received before the beginning of the course are entitled to a 100% refund of the amount paid. Cancellations received after its beginning are not entitled to any refund.

Successful graduates
Students who successfully complete a course, pass the exams and have less than 4 weekly days and 1 lab absence receive an official and recognizable professional diploma.
When you are certified by Big Blue Data Academy - a Swiss education institution - and Deree – The American College of Greece, your knowledge on the subject and commitment as a professional is recognized by your future co-workers and partners in the field of Data Analytics / Business intelligence.
Professional Diploma in Data Analytics is a professional Education course that does not offer credits at the ACG (only undergraduate and graduate courses bare credits).
Non-successful graduates or no exams
Students who do not pass the exams or completed a course without exams receive a certificate of attendance.
Valid certifications consist of:
You received the certifications on a graduation ceremony and in an electronic format.
The above Terms and any amendment thereof are governed and shall be construed under and in accordance with the Greek law. Any action arising out of or pertaining to these Terms shall be initiated and maintained in the courts of Athens, Greece.

Big Blue Data Academy and The American College of Greece (also called herein as “Data Controllers”) hereby inform you that they collect, process and store, in electronic or paper form, the personal data that are included in the present application (especially the following: Full Name, student ID Number (only for ACG students/alumni), VAT number, Address, contact details, ACG Affiliation, payment details, according to the provisions of the applicable legislation on personal data, namely today the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (“General Data Protection Regulation”), as well as the applicable Greek Legislation regarding the protection of personal data, as in effect from time to time (called herein as “the Personal Data Legislation”), and according to the specific terms and conditions set below:
Big Blue Data Academy and the American College of Greece collect and process the above personal data for the purpose of your participation in professional seminars. The legal bases of the above processing are the performance of our contract, compliance with Data Controllers' legal obligations, the serving of the legitimate interests, and your written consent granted hereby.
The above personal data will be accessible and processed by authorized employees of Data Controllers, who will process the personal data solely for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes, and by no means for their own benefit. Furthermore, some of the above personal data will be accessible and processed, within the framework of their responsibilities, by authorized external associates of Data Controllers for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes. Any further transfer of personal data to any third person or to a country outside the European Union will take place only in accordance with the Personal Data Legislation.
The Data Controllers will keep and process the above personal data for as long as it is required for the serving of the aforementioned purposes of processing and for as long as it is required in order to comply with its legal obligations and to defend itself against any legal claims. After the above time period, the Data Controllers will proceed to the definite deletion of the above personal data.
Subject to certain exceptions, conditions, and limitations provided by the Personal Data Legislation, you can exercise your right of access, rectification, restriction of processing, objection, erasure of the above personal data, as well as the right to data portability. In case you exercise one of the aforementioned rights, the Data Controllers will take any possible measure for the prompt satisfaction of your request, according to the specific provisions and conditions of the Personal Data Legislation, and shall inform you in writing regarding the satisfaction of your request, or for the reasons that prevent the exercise of the right by you or the satisfaction thereof according to the Personal Data Legislation.
In addition, you may at any time withdraw your present consent, without although affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal and the processing based on any other legal basis. We inform you that in case of withdrawal of your consent, we will not be able to use the above personal data and your participation to professional seminars will not be possible. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, in case you consider that the processing of your personal data is against the applicable legislation.
