Both educational institutions reserve the right to modify the content and scope of these terms at any time, even without prior notice. In case of modification of these terms and conditions, if you use the website on a date later than the modification, it implies that you accept the new terms and conditions.

Like every other website, bigblue.academy uses "cookies." These are used to store information, including visitors' preferences and the sections of the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize users' experience, as the content of our website is adjusted, among other things, based on the visitors' browser type. We reserve the right to request that you remove all links or any particular link to our website. You agree to immediately remove all links to our website upon request. We also reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions and the linking policy at any time. By continuously linking to our website, you agree to be bound by and follow these linking terms and conditions.
Big Blue Data Academy and Deree - The American College of Greece are not liable for any malfunctions or damages that may be caused by the software used or installed during the course on the student's computer.
All information provided as well as that contained in the training materials (including but not limited to: documents, images, videos, photographs, logos, trademarks) provided to you and distributed as part of the program are the property of the Big Blue Data Academy.
It is absolutely forbidden for the student to sell, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, redistribute, or otherwise use in any way anything belonging to the Intellectual Property of the Big Blue Data Academy, or data of its business partners and associates, or even to create derivative works based on the aforementioned in any way. The student is prohibited from disclosing or sharing any information and password relating to the bigblue.academy website (and additional related websites). Any infringement of these rights will be punished in accordance with the provisions of national and European legislation on the protection of intellectual and industrial property and fair competition. Failure by the student to comply with the above confidentiality obligations shall entitle the Big Blue Data Academy to claim compensation for any proven damage suffered by it, regardless of whether the leakage of Confidential Information and the breach of the terms of the Agreement was caused by malice, gross or slight negligence. The Course may be recorded by the Big Blue Data Academy for educational or promotional purposes.
This Course materials Protection is effective as of the date agreed by the student and is of indefinite duration.
When you purchase a course, we grant you a time-unlimited, non-transferable, access license to all course materials.
Fees are subject to regular review and change. In case of any change, the new fee does not have a retroactive effect for previous orders before this change. Fees and other amounts payable are published and the most recently published pricing is payable by all attendants. Prices are inclusive of all fees and applicable taxes.
You can pay by credit in 6 maximum installments. You will be asked to fill in your card number, expiration date, and security code (CVC). Companies do not keep or store card information details for maximum security. Please note that you will be charged the 1st installment the moment you register or enroll.
Payment made by card is processed through electronic payment platforms. They use encryption protocol on a Secure Sockets Layer - SSL. Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key. Thus, this means your data and transactions are absolutely safe.
Refunds for course
Registration cancellations received before the beginning of the course are entitled to a 100% refund of the amount paid. Cancellations received after its beginning are not entitled to any refund.

Successful graduates
Students who successfully complete the program (pass the exams and have fewer than 4 business days and 1 lab session of absence) receive an official and recognizable professional certificate.
When certified by the Swiss educational institution Big Blue Data Academy and Deree - The American College of Greece, your knowledge in the field and your commitment as a professional are recognized by your future colleagues and partners in the field of data analysis/business intelligence.
Certificates are delivered to participants at a graduation ceremony and are also sent in digital form via Accredible, one of the world's leading digital certification providers.
The Professional Diploma in Data Analytics is a professional training program that does not offer academic credits.|
Unsuccessful Program Completion
Participants who do not pass the exams or exceed the allowable absence limit can receive a certificate of attendance for the specific modules they attended. Those who do not pass the exams or are absent on the scheduled exam day have the right to retake the exam after 7 days.
Distance Learning in Case of Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure (e.g., extreme weather conditions), to maintain the sequence and coherence of the program, the courses for the Professional Diploma in Data Analytics will be conducted remotely. During these sessions, students are recommended to keep their cameras on throughout the lectures.
The above Terms and any amendment thereof are governed and shall be construed under and in accordance with the Greek law. Any action arising out of or pertaining to these Terms shall be initiated and maintained in the courts of Athens, Greece.

The American College of Greece and Big Blue Data Academy (hereinafter referred to as "Data Controllers") hereby inform you that they collect, process, and store your personal data contained in this application (specifically, the following: Full name, ID card number (if you are a student/alumnus of The American College of Greece), VAT number, address, contact details, Relationship with the College, payment details) in both electronic and paper form, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable personal data legislation, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the "General Data Protection Regulation") and the Greek Data Protection Law, as applicable from time to time (hereinafter "Data Protection Legislation"), and according to the specific terms and conditions set out below:
The "Data Controllers" collect, maintain, and process the above personal data for the purpose of your participation in professional seminars, issuance of legally required receipts, and communication with you regarding the aforementioned professional seminars. The legal basis for such processing is the performance of our contract, compliance with the Data Controllers' legal obligations, the pursuit of their legitimate interests, and, concerning the sending of informational material about other seminars, lectures, events, etc., organized by each Data Controller, your potential consent, which can be provided by completing a separate subsequent field.
The above personal data will be accessible and processed by the authorized employees of the "Data Controllers," who will process them exclusively for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes, and in no case for personal benefit. Furthermore, some of the above personal data will be accessible and processed by their external partners, within the scope of their responsibilities, for the same aforementioned purpose. Any further transfers of personal data to a third party or a country outside the EU will only be made if permitted and in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Legislation.
The "Data Controllers" will retain and process the above personal data for as long as necessary to serve the aforementioned processing purpose and for as long as required to comply with their legal obligations and to defend themselves against any legal claims. After the end of the aforementioned period, they will proceed with the permanent deletion of the above personal data.
Subject to specific exceptions, conditions, and limitations provided by the Data Protection Legislation, you may exercise the right to access, rectify, restrict processing, object to, delete the above personal data, and the right to data portability, against and from each of the "Data Controllers." In case you exercise one of the aforementioned rights, the "Data Controllers" will take all possible measures to timely satisfy your request, as specifically provided and under the conditions of the Data Protection Legislation, informing you in writing of the satisfaction of your request, or of the reasons that prevent you from exercising, or the satisfaction of one or more of the aforementioned rights according to the Data Protection Legislation.
You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal, nor processing based on another legal basis for processing. Furthermore, you have the right to file a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the applicable law.

I hereby give my consent to Big Blue Data Academy GmbH (hereinafter "Academy") to use in advertising or educational material and to publish (including but not limited to posters, electronic videos, newsletters, publications in the daily or periodical press, the Academy's website or social media websites) my name, image, voice and/or appearance as they may be captured in any images, photos, videos, recordings and digital images taken in the context of the Academy's activities.
I agree that the Academy has full ownership of the produced material as mentioned above, including all copyrights, and may use them for any purpose consistent with the Academy's missions. These uses include, but are not limited to, illustrations, videos, reprints, reproductions, publications, advertisements and any advertising or educational material in any medium now known or developed later, including the Internet.
The Academy collects, processes and stores the aforementioned personal data in electronic or printed form in accordance with the provisions of the applicable data protection legislation, namely Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council ("General Data Protection Regulation"), as well as Greek Law 4624/2019 on the protection of personal data, as applicable from time to time (hereinafter referred to as "Personal Data Legislation"), and in accordance with the specific terms and conditions set out below:
The Academy collects the aforementioned personal data solely for the purpose of promoting and informing the public about the Academy's activities and maintaining records, under the terms described herein. The legal basis for the above processing is your written consent provided herein in accordance with the transparency principle provided for in the General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679/EU) - GDPR and Greek Law (Law 4624/2019) and the Academy's legitimate interests. The above personal data will be accessible and processed by authorized employees of the Academy, who will process the personal data solely for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes and in no case for their own benefit. In addition, some of the above personal data will be accessible and processed, within the scope of their duties, by authorized external partners of the Academy for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes.
The Academy will retain and process the above personal data for a period of 5 years from the receipt of consent. Subject to exceptions, conditions and limitations provided for by data protection legislation, you may exercise the right to access, correct, restrict processing, object to, delete the above personal data, as well as the right to data portability. In the event that you exercise one of the aforementioned rights, the Academy will take all possible measures to promptly satisfy your request, in accordance with the specific provisions and conditions of the Data Protection Legislation, and will inform you in writing of the satisfaction of your request or the reasons that prevent the exercise or satisfaction thereof in accordance with the Data Protection Legislation.
Furthermore, you may revoke your consent in writing at any time by sending an email to administration@bigblue.academy. Revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal (e.g., publication in an album, posting on a website) and processing based on any other legal basis. The obligation for deletion by the Academy obviously does not exist with respect to photos included in commemorative albums/documents of the Academy.
